Romeo Vasquez: What do you think of the LGBTQ+ community? Do you support Them?

Chris: “At Trippy tacos we support them, and we try fulfilling their needs”

Romeo Vasquez: How do you feel about Women having equal pay as men? Do you support it?

Chris: Yes, we support it because things shouldn’t be based on gender.

Romeo Vasquez: What does Gender Equality mean to you?

Chris, It means that you don’t treat boys or girls differently because all genders are equal.

Romeo Vasquez: Why is it important to take gender concerns seriously?

Chris It’s important to take gender equality concerns seriously because for example it’s not fair that someone may lack education etc just because of their gender.

Romeo Vasquez: How would you define the difference between Gender Equality and Gender inequality?

[Chris] Gender Equality is someone that is supporting all gender no matter what and they don’t judge whatever then call themselves.
Gender inequality is one gender doesn’t have access to resources or they are not valued the same.

Student Voices QOTD: Why do women get paid less than Men.

Did you know that for every dollar a man makes, a woman makes about 80 cents according to the U.S. Government Accountability Office. Unfortunately women are sometimes prohibited from opportunities to study, earn, and lead. This gender bias pay gap is extremely important because in a woman’s decreased ability to earn. Women are typically less likely than men to advance as far in their careers. Thus, women are often judged based on their gender and valued lower to men.

Simply women get paid less then men. According to research, women are more likely to work in low-wage positions with little benefits like Education.

The progression of women’s rights

Over the last several centuries, women’s rights have made significant progress. In many facets of society, including the ability to vote and the right to own property, women have achieved great progress. Even if there is still a long way to go in the area of gender equality, we should be proud of the accomplishments thus far and keep pushing for a society that is just, fair, and equitable for everyone. In order for all women to enjoy the same opportunities and rights as men, women’s rights must be preserved and promoted. They are an integral component of any contemporary society.
